The Creation of the Anunnaki
In the first moments of the existence of the Mountain of Heaven and Earth, the Anunnaki were created by An (or Anu), the supreme god. We can learn this from primary sources from the Sumerian myth of «Lahar and Ashnan», divine personifications of cattle and grain. The Anunnaki fed on the products of Lahar and Ashnan, but their satisfaction was short-lived.
During this primordial time, sheep, goats and grain did not yet exist. Humans were primitive creatures who knew neither bread nor clothing. Their survival depended directly on Lahar and Ashnan. If you want to know and go deeper into this history, I recommend the books «Sumerian Gods«, Volume I and II, you can find them on Amazon.
