Erzsébet Báthory

The Bloody Countess

In the remote lands of Hungary, there lived Countess Erzsébet Báthory, a cold-blooded noblewoman whose beauty was eclipsed only by her unquenchable thirst for eternal youth. The rumors that swirled through the nearby villages were as sinister as the cold winds that whipped through the castle towers. It was said that the countess, obsessed with keeping her skin immaculate and youthful, had discovered a macabre elixir of youth. But, the price of such a discovery was dark and horrifying.

It was discovered that the countess had been kidnapping, torturing and murdering young maidens, bathing in their virginal blood in a disturbing belief that this would grant her immortal beauty. Despite the heinous evidence, the nobility allowed the countess to be confined to her chambers until her last breath, being remembered to our era as «The Bloody Countess«.
