The Theft of Souls
The night winds whisper an ancient legend from Venezuela, where there is a dark tale of the Cursed Wagon. This dark wagon, pulled by empty-eyed black horses, is said to travel the cobblestone streets in the depths of the night, when the moon hides behind a blanket of gloomy clouds. The wagon is riderless, but has a will of its own, moving silently through the mist.
The shadowy caravan is known to carry away wayward souls who dare to wander the streets after midnight. Each time the Cursed Wagon is sighted, a sepulchral chill descends upon the city. Legends tell that the wagon leads to a realm where souls are trapped in an eternal purgatory, a place where there is no return to life.
