Black and White Cadejo
The Cadejo has two manifestations: one negative and one positive.
“The Black Cadejo” is considered an evil spirit. It is a huge black dog with eyes that burn with a red glow. He drags chains at night and stalks inebriated and lost travelers. It is said that his presence is a bad omen and that his purpose is to disorient, frighten or even lead to the doom of those who cross him.
On the other hand, there is “The White Cadejo”, which is presented as a protective entity. It is also huge, its fur is white with blue glowing eyes. He accompanies night travelers to save them from dangers, including the threat of his dark counterpart. It is a symbol of protection and guidance.
